👉 You can still have a successful private practice these days despite what's going on with insurance companies!  I started my own practice 5 years ago and am much happier.  The independence is completely worth it.  I am able to spend much more quality time with my family, which is the most important thing.

✅ In addition, by significantly reducing overhead and maximizing ancillary resources of revenue (medico-legal, product sales, consulting), you can definitely out-earn your employed position.

😷 Some doctors are scared they won’t be able to run a business, but that is something you can learn.  In general, a hospital will charge you 80% as overhead for the revenue you bring in.  In a well-run private practice, your overhead can get down to 40% or less.
