## Caption

Back in 2022 when it was announced that Kansas City had been selected to host the fifaworldcup, I was in a different era of life. I was still pursuing professional baseball. I wasn’t really interested in soccer and didn’t realize how big of an opportunity this could be for the city

Fast forward to 2026, I’m an entrepreneur operating across sports, media and culture, and my hometown is the smallest market in the country hosting games for the biggest sports event in the world

Along with hosting the 6 games, fwc26kansascity wanted to build something special to ensure the impact of hosting the games lasted far beyond the 6 weeks of the tournament

What manifested from that goal was kchouseusa , an invite-only hospitality lounge on the plaza where global leaders, business partners and VIPs experienced the best of Kansas City

Programming included panels from sports industry leaders, live music performances, watch parties and networking opportunities throughout

Truly honored and humbled to have been recognized and invited to participate in the programming and represent KC in a global room connected to the biggest event the city has ever hosted

I take tremendous pride in being a part of showing the country and the world that Kansas City is more than a couple of flyover states

I’ve been fortunate to experience rooms like this regularly over the past few years, but very rarely at home and that’s what made it so special

A huge thank you to everyone involved and I can’t wait to experience what will inevitably come from KC rising up to the challenge of taking on an event of this magnitude
