The strongest convictions are the ones you hold before the world agrees with them.

2019 - We’ve founded Mintlayer. We built a native Bitcoin L2/L3, the gold standard for secure, sovereign infrastructure. At that time, we decided, Technology, would never be an end in itself.

2025 - AI moves to the center of everything. The question changes: can the infrastructure we built also carry the rails for secure, ethical AI in the agentic economy.

My co-founder enricorubboli asked if the market was ready for that. Fair question.

Markets often reward what is faster, while History rewards what is right. He trusted me and together, we trusted this to be the right path. We built anyway.

Timestamp, and Sentinel, were never just features, but a reflection on the belief that responsible AI isn’t a limit on innovation, it’s what gives innovation legitimacy.

Earlier this year, Pope Leo XIV published Magnifica Humanitas. Reading it felt less like discovering something new and more like recognizing something we already knew.

Today, seeing Mintlayer and RBB Lab in the news for the Magnifica Humanitas Global Ambassador Programme, the initiative I now lead as Founding Executive Director, is a strange and grounding feeling. Different journeys. Same destination.
