A new clip posted by WH Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino shows the Oval Office is now decorated from floor to ceiling in gold. Updates to the ceiling and doors can be seen in the video, along with new model airplanes and a FIFA World Cup trophy. If the soundtrack sounds familiar, well, that’s because it’s the theme song from ‘The West Wing’ lmao.

“Throughout the years, people have tried to come up with a gold paint that would look like gold, and they’ve never been able to do it,” Trump said when theories began swirling around the gilded updates last March. The president insists it’s “some of the highest quality 24 Karat Gold” and definitely not Home Depot painted appliques.
