The International Fencing Federation (FIE) officially announced yesterday the appointment of global pop music superstar and former Hong Kong sabre representative Jackson Wang (jacksonwang852g7) as the first-ever global ambassador in FIE history. Coinciding with the inaugural 2026 World Fencing Championships being held in Hong Kong, Jackson Wang signed an agreement with FIE Acting President Abdelmoneim El Husseiny, officially debuting in his new role. Having followed in his father‘s footsteps in the Olympics, Jackson stated that fencing is always in his blood, and in the future, he will transcend the fields of sports, music, and fashion, accompanying athletes towards the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, inspiring a new generation of young people to bravely pursue their dreams through the power of returning to their roots.
