I was scrolling through my Lightroom app & found this gem. Who remembers my Stuffed Series? This was part of it. At the time I called these California Sushi Balls. Then learned the correct term is onigiri. I wanted it just like Cali sushi rolls, but it in a ball form. They were LOVED by so many of you & it inspired me to keep going. Thank you for showing my recipes so much love & support🫶🏼 P.S. this series will be making a comeback. Stay tuned✨

Recipe:
•Finely chop imitation crab meat (8oz)
•in a bowl mix crab with 2tbsp spicy mayo, 2tbsp kewpie mayo & 2tbsp diced green onions
•Smash 1 large avocado in a bowl
•Lay out piece of saran wrap on surface
•Add cooked sushi rice to the middle & press down with a spoon
•In the middle of the rice, add the crab, so diced cucumbers and avocado
•Then pick up edges of the saran wrap & gently create a ball
•Twist the the top of the saran wrap help form it
•Then take out the sushi ball & roll it into a plate of furikake seasoning to cover the whole ball
•Serve with a side of spicy mayo or soy sauce for dipping
