✨Day 3 of our 30 Days of Summer✨

Today we went for a picnic with our friend and her baby - she’s 10 months old and I wanted the kids to interact with her rather than just ignore her. So, this morning I asked them what they would like to bring to play with her. They each had an idea. 

✨Squidgy pouches - a laminating sheet, some water, food colouring, optional glitter and a hot iron/ straightening iron. 
Simply draw on your shape, cut it out, seal all the edges leaving a small opening to fill with water. Finally seal the final edge. Done! Make sure all the edges are sealed properly. 

✨A water tray with sea creatures - I’ll share this in stories! 

✨A posting box - my middle son made it out of a cardboard box and a cardboard tube. The idea was to post some pom Poms. The kids thought this was hilarious watching her work it out. 

They spent around an hour on the picnic blanket playing together and it was ADORABLE! 🥹

What a way to get them all engaging ❤️
