The suspect in the Berlin Pride attack was convicted of trying to join ISIS in 2025 and nearly four weeks ago, he had his home searched by police on suspicion of harboring weapons. The 21-year-old attacker, Abdul Ballout, was accused of ramming his rented vehicle into the Berlin LGBTQ+ Pride parade, killing one person and injuring several others, before he was killed by police.
