My name is Shun Powell, and I'm an independent filmmaker from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. For years I've been creating/working on short films, commercial work, and practical effects-driven stories. Now it's time to take the next step.

We're raising $50,000 to bring Daughter of the Night to life.

This isn't just another vampire movie.

It's an emotional horror story about a father forced to raise his daughter after an experimental genetic procedure changes her forever. As she grows older, her hunger becomes impossible to ignore, forcing him to choose between protecting the world... and protecting his child.
