Earth… 🌍 the better we take care of it, the better we can enjoy it 🩵🤍

The theme for Earth Day 2024 is Planet vs. Plastics, a commitment to call for the end of plastics “for the sake of human and planetary health.

We all know the damage that plastics can do to the environment over time.. but do you realize the impact that plastics can have on your health over time? 

Glass is so much better for our health🙏🏻 The plastic from water bottles and Tupperware can leach into your water and food, and can contain carcinogens (which cause cancer over time). Do your part to use more glass when storing your foods. Drink from a non-plastic bottle on the daily. Eat organic fruits and vegetables from this beautiful earth every single day #eattherainbow. These beautiful plants we eat (especially the deep reds, blues and purples) contain antioxidants which help reduce free radicals (cancer causing substances) in our bodies, thus reducing cancer risk over time. 

Get outside daily and get sunshine so you can appreciate this beautiful earth we get to live on. 

Also using the yuka_app yuka_app_us is so helpful to help you buy food and products at the grocery/beauty type stores … simply scan the product barcode and it helps you decipher which to get (rates products on a scale of poor to excellent). We have to be our own advocates for our health here in the states because unlike Europe, America doesn’t ban the use of toxic chemicals in our foods and beauty/skincare products. #cancerprevention #fuckcancer
