Game. Set. Match. 💚👏🏻🎾

Took the W in 2 sets against one of the hardest teams we’ve played this season (second time we’ve played them this season and we lost to them the first time we played against them). 

We’ve put in the work and adjusted our game as necessary. A lot like life, sometimes you just need some course adjustments. Points were close, so many ads and deuces. Mental game was strong even though I’m struggling. 

If I’m being honest, I was not ok yesterday. After therapy and a massage I released so many tears. I grieved for the life I had. But I am hopeful for what’s yet to come. Primarily focused on my heart health, my children and my sports nutrition  business moving forward. Life doesn’t seem fair at times, but maybe it’s happening for a reason. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to move forward. 

Seeing my cardiologist tomorrow for  some answers… on next steps. Sleep hasn’t been the best, so if you think of it, say a prayer it gives me peace of mind so my sleep can be restored.

Huge thanks to tommypaull for the hat signing, it brought all the luck today.. so impressed with the work he has put in and his continued effort to beat the toughest opponents hasn’t gone unnoticed. Good job at Indian wells Tommy and good luck in Miami 🎾👏🏻 Cheering you on from AZ.. and I know paigelorenze will bring you all the luck being there with you 👏🏻🍀

✨I choose to stay positive no matter what the opponents throw at me and no matter what life throws at me. I felt amazing and my heart stayed strong this match and that’s all I could ask for (huge win for me mentally) .. that and a fabulous partner who rallied with me and believed we could do it. 

Tennis is such a mental game. Life is a mental game. Feel the feels, but try to twist negatives into something positive when you can. No matter what you are struggling with … you’ve got this. 

Believe in yourself 💚✅Taking the obstacles of my life out on the court and that’s the healthiest thing I can do for myself right now.👏🏻 thanks for your support and your unconditional love as I navigate all of my life right now.
