A High-Risk Ch*ld Offender was seen at Locals Park in Smith Falls, prompting a Police Warning‼️😨

Police are warning communities across the Ottawa Valley about 35-year-old Aaron Gilpin, a high-risk violent s*x offender previously convicted in what police described as a “brutal” ch*ld-related s*xual assault case 

Smiths Falls police say Gilpin was recently seen in local parks, near the town hall gazebo and at a Tim Hortons, where he was later trespassed from the property.

Police say Gilpin has an extensive criminal history involving serious violent and s*xual offences. Although no new criminal offence was reported during the recent sightings, officers say he may pose a risk to public safety.
