This is not a list of the most talented players, even though these contributors are very skilled, this is discussing how these players largely impact the team’s success with their play.

Ashton Daniels goes without saying. Head coach Mike Norvell named him the starting quarterback, and the Seminoles are relying on a transfer for the third straight season to turn the narrative around in Tallahassee. Duce Robinson came back to Tallahassee to complete unfinished business and write his legacy at Florida State. Rylan Kennedy was brought in from the transfer portal to get after the quarterback, and the Seminoles will need plenty of productivity from an unproven, yet talented unit. Xavier Chaplin will be replacing former transfer Micah Pettus at the left tackle position to protect Ashton Daniels’s blindside. It will be so important to keep their signal-caller healthy for the entirety of the season. Lastly, Ashlynd Barker will be showcased in the Rover position in 2026, which you could argue is the most important in defensive coordinator Tony White’s scheme.
