July 26 is National Disability Independence Day, a day that commemorates the historic 1990 signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).⚖️ 

The #ADA guarantees equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities in public accommodations, employment, transportation, state and local government services and telecommunications.

The purpose of the law is to make sure that people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as people who don't have disabilities.
