I would still be buying tech stocks during this dip but Defensive stocks are great to have in your portfolio right now and for the long term because correction and dips are part of this game! Companies like these hold up better when the market gets shaky.

But here's the thing. A correction or a bear market is not just something to survive. It's actually a gift if you know how to use it.

Some of the best businesses in the world like Amazon, Google, Nebius and others don't go on sale often. When the market is in extreme fear and everything is getting sold off, that's usually when quality companies like these get cheaper for no real reason tied to their business.

History has shown that buying great companies during periods of fear, not greed, is how some of the biggest long term wins happen.

So yes, protect your portfolio with defensive names. But also keep a list ready for quality growth and tech companies you'd love to own at a discount. When the fear hits, that's your window.
