I get asked some version of this question all the time:

“Why do you make so much Jewish content?”

The answer is actually pretty simple.

For starters, I grew up around Jewish people. A lot of my bros were Jewish, so it was never something that felt foreign or different to me. They were just my friends. If anything, they were just white people 😂 but the more I’m exposed to the Jewish community, I’ve learned that white Jews are not the only Jews.  I bet most of the world don’t know that. 

Then something interesting happened as I got older.

I’ve had the privilege of experiencing a lot of different cultures. And honestly? Every culture has shown me love when I’ve shown genuine interest in theirs.

But one thing I noticed about the Jewish community is that they were incredibly giving.

Not just with food, traditions, and experiences, but with their time, knowledge, connections, and support.

That stood out to me because it was the complete opposite of many of the narratives I had heard growing up. 

And at some point in my life, I stopped letting society tell me what to think about groups of people.

I’d rather have my own experiences.

So that’s what I did.

This isn’t me saying one group is better than another. It isn’t a competition. Far from it.

It’s simply me sharing my personal experience.

The older I get, the more I realize that most of the world’s division comes from people talking about each other instead of talking to each other.

I’ve found that curiosity tends to teach me more than judgment ever could.

So I keep showing up. I keep learning. I keep asking questions.

And I keep moving in love.

And for the record, I’ll show up to any room that I’m inviting in especially if the vibe is to shine light on humanity.... All encompassing.
