Today is the 36 year anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act, or ADA. This essential law protects disabled Americans from discrimination. Today we celebrate this monumental protection while acknowledging that improvements can still be made. Autism Speaks remains dedicated to protecting the rights of autistic individuals while encouraging the government to extend these further.
