Hackney half marathon vlog - injured edition 🤕

I got an unexpected injury after my hyroxs 2 months ago where my IT band flared up and caused a lot of pain in my left knee when running - I was advised it was okay to run as long as I wasn’t in too much pain and was given a programme to slowly reintroduce running 

this obviously was very stressful with Hackney half approaching so I decided this wasn’t going to be a race for a PB but for enjoyment so I completely took the pressure off and instead of focussing on getting the mileage in I focussed on recovery as my training block 

making sure my body was prepared and safe was my priority and I introduced as much as I could to assist with this including consistent daily use of my pulsetto.tech vagus nerve stimulator to put my body into a state of recovery and repair instead of stress 

I found the biggest change to be my sleep with this and was amazing to see the actual stats change so quickly in my sleep scores!!! 

I cannot wait to see what my body is able to achieve when I’m back up & running & with the assistance of my new recovery helpers pulsetto.tech
