One of Portland’s best free, family-friendly events of the summer is almost here: PDX Adult Soapbox Derby 🏎️

The event takes place on August 15 from 10am-4pm at Mt. Tabor Park. 

This volunteer-run event celebrates its 27th anniversary this year, and organizers anticipate nearly 10,000 folks could gather at the park to witness the races. 

Soapbox cars inspired by films, pantry items, and pop culture will all zoom downhill during pdxsoapboxderby
