This weekend, in conjunction with the 2026 #WhitneyBiennial, join us for sound and live music with Field Set, a collaboration between Phil Peters (mrphil) and Biennial artist Kelly Akashi (citizenbong).

First presented by nomadicdivision at the site of Kelly Akashi’s former home in Altadena, California, this iteration at the Whitney will feature performances by tara_walters, kyle.luntz, simonaprives, and Ryan Vahey (rvahey), along with Peters and Akashi. The uniting factor among these artists is that they, like Akashi, experienced major losses as a result of fires in either Los Angeles or New York.
