2020 was weird, hard, sad, different, and stressful.
It was also WONDERFUL in many ways and I’m choosing to post about the highlights. While there were many good things in 2020, I am very mindful of those who have suffered greatly because of the pandemic. Loss of jobs, loss of loved ones, loss of opportunities are just a few. My heart goes out to all of you. I pray for an end to this.

1-First and foremost, my missionary son returned home. As heartbroken as I am that he didn’t get to stay in New Zealand (crying now as I type), it has been a blessing to have all my children under one roof.
2-Miraculously, we were able to put on a ballet showcase; it was my last one because I retired after 27 years of teaching.
3-We took a Covid road trip to a very deserted SoCal (wearing masks the whole time, except here at the beach where they weren’t required).
4-A Covid-style trip to Disney World
5-Lucy won the high school state tennis championship and Skyridge won the team championship. Nothing will match the police and fire truck escorted ride through the city with spectators waving and cheering from their driveways, a welcome to the school by the marching band, and cheers from the whole community and school.
6-Lots and lots of family time especially in the outdoors as we were desperate to get out of the house. Husband working from home, church at home, and even school at home were also very notable PLUSES!!!!
7-I got my first legit sponsorship relating to my brand, I have a couple more coming up, my YouTube is growing, and a hobby I love is starting to become profitable after three years of very hard work and lots of out-of-pocket expenses. 45 and starting a new “career?” Who knew?
8-We sold our home, found a beautiful lot, and are building a new home (we needed a master on the main #mslife)
9-The highlight of the Christmas season was unexpected but the Saturn and Jupiter conjunction bundled up with my family and Josh’s knowledge and cool equipment was SO COOL!
10-Since we were home so much we invested in a fun new outdoor space with furniture, lighting, and an outdoor theater system. Thus made for some cool summer nights.
More highlights in my stories.
