He’s the retired bull rider who drives semi trucks for a living now and picks up a rope on the weekends 

He’s the teenage boy who craves working cattle and living life on the ranch 

He’s the rodeo coach who helps build up athletes and get them to their fullest potential

He’s the rookie going down the rodeo trail chasing his gold buckle dreams 

He’s the world champion who’s been there done that 

He’s the little boy practicing his rope tricks everyday in hopes of becoming one of the greats 

He’s the man with a 9-5 job but still makes time for his horses

He’s the ol’ rancher who has endless stories about his time on a plethora of ranches 

He’s the ranch rodeo guy who handles a rope and a horse better than anyone you’ve probably ever seen in your life

I’ve met each and everyone of these men and to say they all embody the cowboy spirit would be an understatement 

He is gritty

He is strong

He is fearless

He is the American Cowboy 

So here’s to the cowboys who love us, impact us, and who have made us who we are
