#ForImmediateRelease: The Stow-Munroe Falls City School District is pleased to welcome Troy Spiker as the district's next Athletic Director. 

Spiker brings extensive experience in educational leadership and athletic administration, having previously served as athletic director for both Orrville City Schools and Crestwood Local Schools.

Throughout his career, he has remained  committed to fostering student-athlete success through excellence in academics, athletics, leadership and sportsmanship. 

"Our athletic programs play an important role in the student experience, and Troy is well prepared to lead them into the future," said Superintendent Dr. Felisha Gould. "His focus on character, teamwork, and achievement aligns with the values of our district, and we are happy to welcome him to our team." 

A graduate of Rootstown High School, Spiker continued his academic and athletic career at Capital University, where he competed in football and track and field. He later earned a Master of Education in Athletic Administration from William Woods University. 

"I am honored to join the Stow-Munroe Falls community and look forward to working alongside our student-athletes, coaches, staff, families and community members to build upon the proud tradition of Bulldog athletics," said Spiker. "Together, we will continue creating opportunities that help every student-athlete grow as competitors, leaders, and individuals." 

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Spiker enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, Samantha; their daughter, Oaklynn; and their dog, Ryder. 

As Athletic Director, Spiker will oversee the district's interscholastic athletic programs while working collaboratively with coaches, administrators, families, and the community to provide exceptional experiences for all student-athletes.
