Hot take: You don't need to take a photo of that fish. 

Around here, we're a big fan of #KeepEmWet year-round. But especially so when temps are high and water is low. Warmer water holds less oxygen. Add a fight, a grip, and thirty seconds out of the water for a photo, and a fish that would normally swim off strong might not fare as well. 

If you’re hitting the water right now, be sure to fish early in the day when it's cooler, carry a thermometer and check water temps, and maybe skip the photo shoot and #KeepEmWet
