Hiromita is a playful and whimsical cat with the spirit of a tiger, created by ANQI.

In the exhibition, a blue Hiromita sculpture is installed on the roof of the Stone House (Galeri Taş Ev), a beautifully restored historical stone house in Bodrum. In a way Hiromita embraces her roots as a wamao, a guardian of the rooftops in traditional Chinese architecture in Yunnan province.

Reimagined as a soul-companion for contemporary
times by artist ANQI, Hiromita serves as an inner guide that reminds us to stay true to our authentic selves.
