It’s National Intern Day! Year after year, we are delighted to host college interns from Elon University's Campus Alamance program. This year was our first time hosting two interns and we are grateful for the impact Aida and Ellie have made to our business this summer. Their supervisor, Emily Stasiak, was impressed with their quality of work, willingness to learn and try new things, and their positive attitude on a daily basis.

Ellie’s experience was “Interning at TS Designs has given me the opportunity to view my passion for marketing and PR through the lens of the apparel and sustainability industry. I'm grateful for the TS Designs team being so welcoming and providing me the opportunity to get hands-on experience working with a unique and innovative company.”

Aida reflects, “Coming into TS Designs, I didn't know what to expect, as I barely had any true work experience. However, reflecting on my time here, I would say it's been one of the best experiences I've had. My work had so much variety, that every day I did something new and learned continuously. I participated in meetings where I watched professionals brainstorm and collaborate, learning a great deal about running a business. I experienced photography in a whole different style, and loved taking direction for different types of shoots. I improved my design skills and absorbed much advice and influence from the team here. Everyone I met was extremely welcoming, supportive and kind, making me feel comfortable right away. Overall this experience has been truly amazing and I'm so grateful I was given the chance to spend my summer here! I will definitely take the skills and knowledge I learned out into the world and use them as I continue on my career journey."

While we will miss having them, we appreciate this program and the students that help to shape our small business in Alamance County.
