A historic moment for Pasifika music has arrived.

Disney Music Group and Hollywood Records have announced MOANA: VOICES ACROSS THE OCEAN, a groundbreaking inspired-by album celebrating the sounds, stories, cultures and identities of the Pacific.

Releasing July 31, the 15-track album brings together 25 Pacific artists from across Polynesia, each bringing their own unique voice, heritage and musical style to a project inspired by the spirit of Disney’s Moana.

Featuring artists including Dinah Jane, Stan Walker, Fia, Becca Hatch, Iam Tongi, Paula Fuga, Common Kings, Josh Tatofi, Maoli, Spawnbreezie, Tenelle, Aaradhna, Dwayne Johnson and many more, this album showcases the incredible diversity of Pasifika artistry across generations and genres.

From Island Reggae and R&B to Pop, Soul, Island Country and traditional Polynesian influences, every song carries a message of courage, family, identity, connection and pride.

Executive produced by Dwayne Johnson, Lauren Hashian, Tiana Nonosina Liufau and Kayla Fa’amaligi, the vision behind this project was to create a global platform for Pacific artists to share their voices, their mana and their stories with the world.

The album artwork also honors the cultures represented through a one-of-a-kind paddle created by Polynesian master carver and cultural practitioner Sam Mangakahia, featuring symbols inspired by the islands of Aotearoa, Cook Islands, Fiji, Hawaiʻi, Samoa, Tahiti and Tonga.
