NEW RULES FOR 2026 ARE ACTIVE! 👀🦓

With the new season about the get underway here's a reminder of some of the new rules in place:

Goalie safety has been improved as outfield players cannot pass through the goalie area anymore and field players need to make an effort to avoid collision with goalies in their area. Outfield players also cannot purposely and repeatedly focus on and follow goalies just to impede or block their view. Their focus must be on the ball or the game and not just the goalie 👁️

New clarifications on holding calls 🫸🫷

Penalty shots in the penalty shootout can be taken by any player and consecutively after 5 shots have surpassed for both teams (into sudden death) 🙅

Goalies can score similar to 3v3 (ball still must bounce or touch floor before halfway line) 🥅

Players and coaches cannot stand in the substitution zone for extended periods of time. Only for specific reasons such as substitutions & equipment changes. Warnings will be applied by referees at first offence 🪑

"Instigator" penalties can now be given to players who initiate altercations 2️⃣
