50 looks a little different from Tenerife… 🇮🇨

A little more perspective. A lot more gratitude. And an even greater appreciation for seeing the world, experiencing new places, and taking it all in.

What started with London and continued on to Marbella for an incredible destination wedding became so much more than a trip. There’s something special about traveling across the world to celebrate people you love, the anticipation, the unknown, the places you discover, the tables you gather around, the food, the music, the traditions, and all those little details that make an experience unforgettable.

And maybe the best part is the people. Traveling with someone you love, reconnecting with old friends, meeting new ones, and realizing that some of the people you encounter along the way may somehow become part of the next chapter of your life.

From London to four unforgettable days celebrating in Marbella, to slowing down here in the Canary Islands, and one final afternoon and night in Rome on the way home… I’m reminded again why I’ve always believed travel is life’s greatest research.

You come home with so much more than photographs. New ideas. New flavors. New friendships. New inspiration. A greater understanding of hospitality, how people gather, how they celebrate, and how differently life can be lived around the world.

And lately I’ve realized that so much of what I see, taste, experience, and discover along the way is finding its way into what I’m creating with Casa Gentile.

Maybe that’s what this chapter is really about, staying curious, saying yes to the unknown, surrounding yourself with people who complement your life and your future, and continuing to build a life that inspires you.

A new decade. A bigger world. And at 50, I really do feel like I’m just getting started.
