Thirty-one floors up, a door opens into a room that doesn’t look like it belongs in a tennis venue at all.

Warm tones. Aesthetic curves. A ’70s kind of elegance, with the skyline finishing the sentence behind it.

You almost forget you’re here to play.

Then you do.

You rally for an hour — same backhand you walked in with. The machine tells you it happened. It doesn’t tell you why.

Someone’s actually watching for that.

On-site coaches also catches the same mistake, and doesn’t leave you guessing what it means.

One sentence. That’s all it takes.

“Here’s what went wrong. Here’s the fix.”

And when it clicks — when the ball finally goes exactly where you meant it to —

that’s the moment you stop feeling like someone who paid for court time.
