Anna, Lola, and Maddie have been working so hard behind the scenes to make this year’s recruitment the best experience yet for both our sisters and every PNM. “I chose Pi Phi because of how genuine every connection felt during recruitment. With my mom and grandma both being Pi Phis, I grew up knowing how special this sisterhood was, but I wanted to find my own place and create my own connection to it. Somehow, from the very beginning, Pi Phi felt like home, and that feeling hasn’t faded one bit. My sisters have been there for me through some of my best moments and some of my hardest ones, and I truly don’t know who I would be today without the people Pi Phi has brought into my life. It has become so much more than a sorority to me, it’s a place where I feel known, supported, and completely myself, and getting to experience the same sisterhood that meant so much to my mom and grandma in my own way makes it even more special.

I was inspired to serve on exec because I had such a fulfilling recruitment experience, and I wanted to give that exact feeling back to every PNM who walks through our doors. I know firsthand how special it feels to walk into Pi Phi and immediately feel like you belong, and being on exec has given me the opportunity to help create that feeling for someone else. Some of my favorite moments have been the behind-the-scenes ones, working alongside my best friends to plan the little details and moments that no one else sees, all in hopes of making someone else feel just as special and welcomed as I did. Knowing that those small details can turn into memories that our sisters carry with them is what makes this role so meaningful to me. Being able to give back to a community that has given me so much has truly been one of the most rewarding parts of serving on exec.”
