It’s to have a plan.

Too many hitters step into the box hoping something good happens.

The best hitters step in knowing:
⚾ What pitch they’re looking for
⚾ What part of the field they’re trying to use
⚾ What the game situation calls for
⚾ How they’re going to attack the pitcher

The home run is just the result of a great approach meeting a great swing.

Not because the ball left the yard.

But because it shows our players what preparation, confidence, and a clear plan can do when the game speeds up.
