Well... this is probably the most unexpected thing we’ve ever bought for Oscar. 😂🍺

Yesterday, we found out he has a condition that makes it difficult for his body to sweat, which can be dangerous in this summer heat.

One of our vet’s recommendations? Mixing a dark beer into his feed.

We know it sounds unbelievable (we thought so too!), but after doing some research, we learned it’s actually a supportive practice that’s been used for some equines with this condition.

We’ll do whatever it takes to keep our sweet boy healthy, happy, and comfortable... even if that means Oscar gets a stout with dinner. ❤️
