Slovenia's Primož Roglič celebrated his overall Giro d'Italia victory on the streets of Rome, Italy on Sunday.⁠

He took the leader's pink jersey at the very last opportunity, overhauling a 26-second deficit to Britain's Geraint Thomas in the Stage 20 time trial on Saturday, before the largely ceremonial final stage in Rome.⁠

After 3,489.2  kilometers, raced over three weeks, Roglič won the Giro by just 14 seconds over Thomas, while Portugal's Joao Almeida finished another minute down in third.⁠
