#DeenTheGreat’s lawyer is speaking out after the streamer faces serious prison time after being hit with felony robbery and misdemeanor battery charges in Miami, according to court documents obtained by TMZ_tv. Prosecutors allege the charges stem from a May 27 incident aboard a yacht involving a woman who told police that Deen, whose real name is Nurideen Shabazz, became physical with her following a verbal altercation.

According to the alleged victim, Deen kicked her off the yacht after becoming upset that other men were trying to talk to her. She also claimed he grabbed her forearm while she was recording their interaction, leaving a minor scratch.

The yacht owner reportedly turned over security footage to police, which authorities say showed Deen allegedly putting his hands on the woman multiple times and attempting to take her phone as she struggled to get away.

Police were reportedly waiting at the dock when the yacht returned, and authorities say Deen gave an account of the incident that contradicted what they observed in the footage. If convicted of the felony robbery charge, Deen could face up to 15 years behind bars. No conviction has been reported, and the allegations remain just that until proven in court.
