#TSRLocalLens: Heartbreaking! 💔 Authorities in Michigan say a 47-year-old man fatally shot his wife and six children before setting their home on fire and taking his own life in what investigators are calling a murder-suicide.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office identified the man as #KristopherKarolkiewicz. His wife, #AmandaKarolkiewicz, and their six children, ages 5 to 15, all died from gunshot wounds. Investigators believe the fire was intentionally set in multiple areas of the home after the killings.

Officials said there are no outstanding suspects and continue to investigate what led up to the tragedy.

Online posts attributed to Amanda on Reddit suggest the couple’s marriage had experienced difficulties. In the posts, Amanda alleged that her husband had an emotional affair with a former intern at his job. Authorities have not identified a motive in the case or linked the alleged affair to the killings.
