Alpha-1 Wrestling says The Purge was the biggest show in company history. The Hamilton, Ontario promotion, based just outside Toronto and founded in 2010 by WWE's Ethan Page, announced Monday on X that Sunday's event drew a record pre-sale and record attendance, writing, "Seeing the lineup down the street before doors even opened was amazing!!"

Killer Kross headlined, retaining the MLW World Heavyweight Championship against Jimmy Townsend in the first MLW title defense in Alpha-1 history, with the referee stopping the match at the 15-minute mark. Kross shook Townsend's hand afterward. Scarlett Bordeaux was also in action, facing Jody Threat with the Queen of the Castle Championship on the line.

Alpha-1 thanked them both: "A huge thank you to Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux for being a part of The Purge and for being so amazing to work with!"
