💫 Counting Stars proved much the best in the Coaching Club American Oaks (G1). 

In a heated battle with Kentucky Oaks (G1) heroine Always a Runner, the daughter of Honor A. P. pulled away to win in the final stretch. Trained by Mark Casse for owner West Point Thoroughbreds, the win marked Irad Ortiz Jr.’s fifth on the day. 

Ortiz went on to win the final race of the day at Saratoga, becoming just one of three jockeys ever to win six races on a single Saratoga card.
