There’s no way I want to understand everything because if I did, I’ll stop enjoying being ME.

Do you really want to understand everything?

For example, imagine that you find the secret knowledge on how to be Brad Pitt/Shahrukh Khan/Sachin Tendulkar ( choose anyone you really admire and replace these names with your choice). 

I did a deep reflection on this once.  I imagined what it would be like to be in the shoes of someone really rich and famous. A rockstar, a super athlete, maybe. At first, it seemed awesome. 

 But then, guess what I realized- in spite of the fun and fascinating life of that person,  I’m not going to be able to be ME, enjoying being a fan of their performances! I’d rather enjoy a great film by my favorite actor rather than be that actor. 

I’d rather not understand how things work in quantum physics either- I’d rather let some amazing physicist  find that out and show me the wonder of that subject.

Strangely enough,  I DON'T want to understand everything from experts who do. Some useful and functional things are fine- but not everything. I’d rather be me, an observer enraptured by the mystery and wonder that the world around shows me.
