his father has a nerve disease called multiple sclerosis, twenty years in a wheelchair, stuck to flat ground the whole time

so the creator behind JLaservideo took a Unitree robot dog, the four-legged one you’ve seen online, and turned it into a chair that walks

he replaced the wheels with legs, made it strong enough to carry a grown man, and added balance so it stays steady

and now his dad climbs hills, goes up stairs, even crosses rivers, places a wheelchair could never take him

because a wheelchair needs flat smooth ground, but legs can step over almost anything

it’s not perfect, it still falls sometimes, but it walks where nothing else could
