## Caption

Only four large U.S. military C-130H Hercules aircraft are currently fighting wildfires nationwide. Oregon has two. Watch from inside one of them.

This cockpit and ground footage was recorded July 21, 2026, over the Cow Camp complex fire in eastern Oregon, about 25 miles northwest of Vale near the Baker-Malheur county line. A smaller U.S. Forest Service plane flies ahead and releases smoke to guide the C-130’s retardant drop.
