## Caption

DEVELOPING: Village officials said police officers were flagged down by workers just before 1 p.m. Monday in a construction area in the 800 block of Curtiss Street. The workers told police two contractors were trapped in a storm sewer below the street.

Footage appeared to show multiple people being pulled from the storm drain near Washington Curtiss, though it was not clear if those were rescuers or the missing contractors. Some were seen being loaded onto stretchers.
