Husker Athletics announces Track and Field head coach Justin St. Clair has signed a contract extension through the 2031 season after leading the Huskers to top-10 team finishes at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and coaching two individual national champions this spring.

The Huskers also added a decorated coaching duo to the staff.

Kareem Streete-Thompson, a three-time Olympian for the Cayman Islands, joins Nebraska as the sprints and horizontal jumps coach. He competed in three Olympic Games, seven World Championships, owns a personal-best of 9.96 in the 100 meters and an 8.63m (28-3¾) long jump. He and Carl Lewis are the only athletes to have run under 10 seconds and jumped farther than 28 feet.

Jackie Streete-Thompson joins as the sprints specialist coach after helping UTSA athletes set 10 school records and win 15 conference championships. She also spent eight seasons at Florida State, where she helped the Seminoles win three straight NCAA men’s team titles from 2006-08.
