Most people only know about Arizona’s bark scorpion, but dozens of different scorpion species can be found across the state. 🦂

The bark scorpion is the one most likely to sneak inside homes and is responsible for most serious stings. Others spend the day hiding under rocks, inside cracks or buried in cool soil before coming out after dark.

As Arizona heats up, scorpion activity starts picking up too.
