Elections for DSU E-Board are OPEN! There's only one more week to apply, so don't miss out! We currently have FOUR positions open so don't hesitate to apply. 

Applications will close on Friday, March 20th at 8pm. Position descriptions are listed below:

Vice-President (VP):
The vice-president mainly works alongside the president, assumes all the duties and responsibilities of the President in their absence, and assists in special projects and tasks as assigned by the president (ex. creating Bobcat Central Reservations).

Social Media Chair:
The Social Media Chair mainly runs all of QDSU's social media platforms, promotes QDSU's organizational goals through social media, stays informed about disability awareness days and months, creates awareness-focused posts for the organization, and creates promotional ads and flyers for the organization’s events and meetings. These, in addition, are to be shared through social media. 

Treasurer:
The Treasurer is responsible for all financial transactions, Maintaining up-to-date accounts of the organization’s financial transactions, responsible for creating budget reports at the beginning of each Fall and Spring semester and as requested by the President, Vice President, and/or QU faculty/staff advisor, communicate with the Executive Board and the Vice President of Operations in the Student Government Association regarding all financial activities, and oversee all fundraising events.

Event Coordinator:
The event coordinator is responsible for assisting in event management and planning of all events, and is in charge of coordinating, communicating, and planning all co-sponsor events, and is in charge of completing all Bobcat Central and EMS reservations. 

Please note: If there is not enough interest in this position, its duties will be assigned to the Vice President.
