🎉We are happy to share that 98 amazing animals found loving homes during National Adoption Week! #HappyTailsTuesday

Seeing the animals in our care finally find a home to call their own is the best part of what we do. Thanks to our wonderful staff, volunteers, community, and petsmartcharities, we're able to give more pets a second chance.

To our new adopters (and anyone considering adoption), here's a quick reminder of the 3-3-3 Rule of taking a new pet home:

🐾3 Days: Time to decompress. Hiding, accidents, and nervous behavior are completely normal.
🐾3 Weeks: Your pet is beginning to settle in, learn routines, and build trust.
🐾3 Months: They feel at home, have a sense of security, and are forming a strong bond with their family.

Every pet adjusts at their own pace. Some may take less time, while others may need a little longer to settle in. The most important things you can give them are patience, understanding, and lots of love. 🧡
