❌ HIV treatment is harmful
✅ Modern HIV treatment is safe and highly effective. Some people may experience mild side effects, such as nausea or diarrhoea, but these often settle within a few days or weeks.

❌ HIV and AIDS are the same
✅ HIV is the virus. AIDS is the most advanced stage of untreated HIV. Effective treatment can prevent HIV from progressing to AIDS.

❌ HIV affects fertility
