#BlaccZacc will not face the death penalty if convicted in his murder-for-hire case, according to a notice filed by prosecutors.

In the Notice of Intent Not To Seek The De-th Penalty, prosecutors named Blacc Zacc alongside alleged co-conspirator Javon Hamilton. While he will not face capital punishment, Blacc Zacc still faces a potential life sentence if convicted.

Following the filing, U.S. District Judge Jacquelyn D. Austin ordered both sides to discuss a new trial schedule, with a joint motion to continue due by Aug. 21, 2026.

Judge Austin also instructed attorneys to notify the court if any defendant plans to enter a guilty plea. 👀
