These native Mojave Desert cacti are part of a fragile ecosystem that supports wildlife, including desert tortoises and countless desert species. 
 
The data center proposed in southern Nevada would industrialize public lands, strain scarce Colorado River Basin water resources, and threaten habitat that has existed for generations.
 
Public lands belong to wildlife, people, and the desert itself, not another industrial footprint.
