Under the lights of Glasgow, the Indian distance runner produced a performance for the history books, winning a SILVER medal in the men’s 10,000m at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. His time of 27:49.78 made him the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 event.

History rarely announces itself. But the signs had been there all along. Just months ago, Gulveer rewrote the Indian 25K National Record with a remarkable 1:12:06 at the #TSW25K.
